The educational aim of the Syros International Music Festival is to accompany and nurture music graduates year-long towards a sustainable and successful professional career.

During the first Syros International Music Festival, the outreach program, which included concerts at elementary, middle and high schools as well as elderly homes and homes for people with special needs, touched the lives of over a 1000 youngsters. For many it was an exciting first exposure to classical music and classical musicians. This year’s festival hopes to develop this program to include a unique mentorship for gifted young musicians.

Residence 1860 is a privately-owned, recently-renovated mansion showcasing a private collection of photographs and paintings. It also features a 1914 Pleyel Model 3 piano, perfect for accompanying string soloists.
The Kyveli Institute is a cultural institution dedicated to promoting the legacy of actress Kyveli Adriani, a prominent figure in Greek theater. Situated in the neoclassical mansion of Kyveli's family, the institute hosts exhibitions, events, and educational programs that celebrate the arts, particularly theater and film. It also serves as a research center, preserving historical archives and fostering artistic dialogue, contributing to the island's rich cultural heritage.
Enjoy the exclusive access to the bar of Avant Garden situated exactly in front of the Apollon Theater before each performance.
We offer our Festival Supporters a private visit to the Catholic Church of the Annunciation (Evangelistria) and the three Orthodox churches: the Church of the Transformation (Metemorphosi), Saint Nicholas Church and the Church of The Assumption of Virgin Mary, which hosts an early work by the painter El Greco.
